Ok any ideas for Beatrice's bub? It's just been announced today.

So four royal babies this year.

Zara

Eugenie

Meghan

And now Beatrice.

Elizabeth for a middle name of it’s a girl.

For a boy, perhaps something a bit old fashioned formal/trendy nickname for a first name... Leopold, Nathaniel, Samuel.

Or something Italian with her husband’s heritage- Leonardo, Matteo, Luca

I love that Bub was announced on Harry and Meghan’s 3rd wedding anniversary.

Take that you bitches for announcing your baby at Eugenies wedding.

Going on the Italian theme, Elisabetta is the Italian version of Elizabeth.

I hadn't heard about Beatrice when I read this and couldn't connect the dots. But it is kind of karmaish. Well played!

Harry and Meghans kid is not a Royal. They distanced themselves quite deliberately.

I think they should just name it Veronica. They're a joke anyway.

I think that is very harsh.

Listening to Harry’s interview on Armchair Expert podcast did change my view of them. I think he is just a guy who wanted to live his life and have more meaningful conversations.

Archy and Mehitabel goes well together - although they won't be living in Shinbone Alley!

Someone else who has read Archy and Mehitabel??!!?

Sorry that makes no sense. Have you read it? I have come across almost no one else who has...

I don't think Archy and Mehitabel made it very far off the American continent!

When I first moved to mainland Australia, hardly any of the kids I went to school with here had heard of Tintin, or Asterix and Obelix. They are now far more common and well known, but I was quite surprised back then!

Love your names, I do think Matteo Mapelli Mozzi might be a mouthful for most kids. Great monogram!

Can’t see them going with Luca as Zara’s boy is Lucas

In the mid 70s both my primary library in south west sydney and high school in country NSW had both on the shelves

Yes, we had Archy and Mehitabel in England. Wasn't there a film / musical made as well?

I reckon it would be a great name. Mehitabel Sussex!

I think Beatrice will include the name Sarah if she has a girl, in honour of her mother.

I suspect Andrew will not be similarly honoured if she has a boy...

If I had to bet for H&M's daughter, I'd go with Artemis. It's the Greek version of Diana and goes with Archie.

Yes, I think the name Andrew might be mothballed for some time! However his daughters might honour him by using one of his other names, Albert Christian Edward.

Apparently the new baby Sussex has been named  “Lilibet Diana”, to be known as “Lili”.

That’s a lot of name, headlines wise...
