LemonMyrtle
Now that Facebook doesn’t have news, I need a new app that brings together all my favourite news feeds in the one spot. Tried Apple news on my phone but no matter what I do with the settings it still showing me news that I don’t want to see (e.g. 9 news)Is there an app that I can just say, for example, “show me the ABC, BBC, The Age, CNN, The guardian, and nothing else thanks”
Darryl
Your best bet is to look into an RSS/Atom feed reader. Then you can subscribe to the news feeds you like and be able to see them all in one place.

BornToLove
I get most of my news from Twitter. I just follow the news sources and reporters I like.
LemonMyrtle
Google News. You can block news sources you don't want to see. Ah, this is a winner. Just downloaded it to try and It actually listened to me when I blocked something, unlike the stupid Apple one. How long before it gets turned off though, I wonder. But for now, it’s working

And I’ve tried it before for news but the character limit annoys me. I hate having to read through 3 tweets to get the message.
overlytired
I'm on Android and like Feedly Classic interface (there's a newer one, just Feedly, but I prefer the older one). It appears to be available on the AU app store but the page won't load for me: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/feedly-classic/id1440918660
