blueshoe Posted April 7, 2021 Share Posted April 7, 2021 If the normal habit is that whoever is cooking dinner makes the meal for everyone, then yes, it’s odd and rather selfish to just decide you are going to have leftovers and not stop to check if that plan suits everyone. Especially as it only takes a minute to say “we’ve got plenty of leftovers, everybody okay to just grab what they want when they’re hungry”. DH and I will occasionally do leftovers for dinner or a weekend lunch but there is always at least a brief discussion to that effect, so everybody knows the situation and nobody is left wondering what or when they are going to eat.
