Ernegirl
Any advice on best sports shoes for primary school kids? DD is in Y3 and has just started "real" sports. She's had New Balance and Asics previously, both were good though the NB seemed to last longer.I just turn into a rabbit in the headlights when it comes to all the types and numbers even within one brand! I suppose I'm looking for something suitable for running and athletics, with reasonable support and around the $100 mark.Any tips and recommendations welcome! Hills Mum Bec
I have two girls that play netball and i would always get ASICS for them. I think their quality has slipped in recent years so last year I got a pair of Mizuno for DD9 and they have been great and lasted really well. LifesGood
DS is 10 and is in ASICS. DD is 14 and wears Brooks. We go to Athletes Foot and get shoes there.ETA, I never get away with under $150 for the kids sport shoes, especially as they both need insoles. Guest BusbyWilkes
I’d go for ASICS or mizuno at that age. They are not particularly “cool” brands, but primary school kids tend not to care too much. When my kids were junior sizes I got their shoes here - often ASICS under $50https://www.jimkiddsports.com.au/collections/kids-footwear-sale-50-and-under/cf-vendor-asics
