Lukes mummi
My 11 year old boy has been complaining that his nipples are sore/itchy. Actually they do look a bit red on the points. He has very sensitive skin. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be hormonal? Or something else?
Fruitmincepies
I’ve had eczema on my nipples - when I was an adult though. You could try some plain moisturising cream to see if it helps.
Jenflea
Is he wearing synthetic tops and having a heat rash type thing? I'd try a mild cortisone cream such as Dermaid from the chemist and see how he is for a few days, and get him to wear as much cotton or natural fibres as he can. mumsytobigones
May just be puberty. Mine generally experienced sore nipples around that point, aggravated by clothing etc. One was super weird and also couldn’t bear sea water on his nipples for a year around that age, apparently stung badly n addition to general discomfort. All disappeared post pubertal surge.
