BeAwesome
I'm trying to find a pair of jeans that fit my nearly 10 year old DD. Very tall and thin for her age, I'm having trouble finding jeans that are long enough in the leg and waist, but don't hang off. She can still fit a Size 8 in the waist, but closer to a Size 12 in length. She's previously bought Pavement brand jeans, but they're currently closed down. No luck with Target's current dismal range of girls clothing. I don't mind buying online, but prefer something we could try on in person. Any suggestions? Kiwi Bicycle
Have you looked at the boy's ranges?

BeAwesome
Have you looked at the boy's ranges? I would have thought if the girls cuts were already too wide, the boys would be as well.
BeAwesome
Jay jays are my girls favourites.Jeans west have length options. The smallest Jay Jays size is still too big, I know my eldest (who is also tall and thin) didn't really fit into them until she was 12. Chillipeppers
Jeans west online. You can choose between short regular and tall in any sizes.
squeekums-the-elf
Boohoo do a tall range, if you ignore most of the site, there some good basics Face off their range runs on smaller side waist wise but still seems to keep length

A lot of boys are actually rather thin and skinny before puberty.

They go down to a size 4 in jeans, so she must be much smaller than an 8 in the waist.
Feebi
Supre?I know she is only 10 but their jeans are small fitting / narrow and from the memory the length isn't too bad. They go down to a ladies 4.
MoukMouk
Supre is good - their waist sizes are small. DD has also had good luck at uniqlo. Their jeggings are really good for tall slim girls. Just jeans has a good range of lots of different fits and lengths as well. TBH, DD often just gave up on jeans as it was so hard to get them to fit. CrankyM
Boys jeans have a narrower hip, so they might work. I know we also got some slim but long jeans at Just Jeans. (I have a very narrow/slim 10yr old and this is the only brand I can find that fit him).
Guest BusbyWilkes
Have you looked at the boy's ranges? I would have thought if the girls cuts were already too wide, the boys would be as well. Not necessarily. Mist of the boys jeans at the moment are skinny, and they tend to be longer.
BeAwesome
I didn't realise JayJays went to a 4, the smallest I've seen is a 6, I might give those a try. We have a Uniqlo locally as well, I always forget about that one.
BeAwesome
Thanks for the suggestions, we hit Jay Jays today, and she does fit into the Size 4. She ended up buying a couple of pairs.
