Silver Girl
Can you recommend towns to stay in Victoria, Southern NSW or SA that have kid friendly beaches? Hoping for absolute beachfront accommodation.
Froyo
Robe, SA. Look for accommodation on Long Beach.

Hills Mum Bec
Lots of towns on Yorke Peninsula in SA have beachfront properties and caravan parks. We regularly stay at Pt Rickaby caravan park in our van but they have cabins and there are a few houses available as rentals. This the view from our caravan. Left side of jetty is rock pools.Right side of jetty is beautiful swimming beach.
Hills Mum Bec
I’ve also heard that Wallaroo at the top of York peninsula is really nice and the caravan park has new beachfront apartments:https://www.wallarooholidaypark.com.au/beachfront-apartments
wiglet
Ocean Grove, Victoria - it's a surf beach (and a really good one!) but also a very safe one for families and young children. Lots of local accomodation nearby, including a couple of caravan parks.Phillip Island, Victoria - Cowes on the west side faces onto Westernport Bay, and is a very gentle beach. Along the south coast, places like Surf Beach (yes, an actual town name) have absolute waterfront properties available for short term rental (via Stayz, or the local real estate agent), and the beach is great, but more suited to older kids. Silver Girl
Thank you everyone. Off to investigate these towns!
BKK
Lorne Victoria but the beach is rough. The lorne Cumberland resort is beautiful but you need to cross a busy road to get to the beach. The Barwon heads caravan park has beautiful onsite cabins which were used in a tv show called sea change.Ocean grove is very nice as Barwon heads right next it it. Ineedcoffee
Hardwicke bay in yorkes peninsula. We stayed in a beach shack right on the beach. Wonderful week of stepping off the verandah right onto beach sand.
