Gutter replacement Melbourne

Hi Everyone,

We need part of our gutter replaced. Is it just plumbers who can do this or can you recommend a specialist group?

Our local plumber quote nearly $3,000 to replace maybe 15 m of gutter. That seems expensive to me.

Have you used Hipages? You advertise your job, with as much info as possible. They only allow three people to give you a quote, which costs the people who quote a small amount of money, so you generally only get people definitely interested.

Plumber’s and roofers (who are usually plumbers) can do it.

Seems expensive, but guttering isn’t cheap. Are your facia panels ok or do they need replacing too?

Just get lots of quotes for something like that. And look at online reviews for their quality. When it comes to guttering, don’t just go the cheapest quote, you need a good job done to avoid leaks.

We had almost the whole house (4bed) redone with fascia guttering (it’s extra deep fascia and gutter in one) for $4200 about two years ago... so $3k sounds like a lot.
