I booked fights last week to Perth.

Don't think I I'll be going.

Sigh.

I dont mind the first rule. test on arrival and isolate until results came in. But now... damn you Dan!

DH was planning to take our kids to his dads on the nsw south coast but I am feeling anxious about the borders suddenly being closed or cases moving down there when everyone goes to the coast over the school holidays.

We have family coming down to North East vic from Sydney (not northern suburbs) We haven’t seen my elderly Mil since the beginning of last year.

I’m nervously watching what is going to happen next with Sydney. I just saw that airports are really busy with people leaving so I suppose that horse has bolted.

I’m on my way now, should be in Canberra tonight and Melbourne tomorrow night

We are not flying, that’s a deliberate choice. Going by bus Syd to Canberra, by car Canberra to Melbourne and we will be heading back to Sydney by train in a sleeper

I made it across the border, only took 90 minutes (usually seconds). We had all our paperwork ready and hot through. I'm so reliever. Now to breath and enjoy, Xmas.
